Private Equity Investors

CRE Note Exchange was developed to provide an efficient trading desk for private equity buyers to identify, evaluate and purchase commercial distressed assets that match the buyers criteria. The severe national financial and real estate downturn that started in 2006′, has created some great buying opportunities for savvy and prepared investors. In commercial real estate, the best discounts are achieved by the acquisition of 1st position non-performing notes (NPN), compared to distressed REO properties.

Due to the privacy concerns and Patriot Act requirements, most financial institutional sellers are careful and discreet as to who they select for the transaction of distressed notes and assets. Most banks do NOT list these NPN assets for sale in a public format, and price such NPN assets at substantial discounts to facilitate a quick sale. They require the designated selling broker/ trading desk to provide a private and secure transactional process in which only a handful of select and pre-qualified equity buyers are privy to such distressed assets offered for sale. This creates a unique and profitable investment opportunity for ready, knowledgeable and aware equity investors.
